Con and I headed to music city for a weekend full of Dolly Parton, SEC football and good times!
Our sissy weekend kicked off on Friday night with drinks and karaoke at Cross-Eyed Critters, the downstairs bar at the Graduate. The one thing I wanted to do to celebrate my 22nd birthday, which was the week before, was sing 22 by Taylor Swift and I did just that! I even got Con up on stage for a standing ovation worthy performance of Fearless, only took a couple martinis worth of liquid courage!
On Saturday, we started our morning with brunch at the White Limozeen, the Dolly Parton themed rooftop restaurant and bar at the Graduate in Nashville, and it was definitely worth the hype! I was particularly excited to eat here cause she is one of Dolly's biggest fans! Obviously we had to dress the part, so I styled together the DOLLY TOP and REGINA PANTS and Con wore the OXFORD DRESS and we were giving all the pink girly vibez! After enjoying some mimosas and the most delicious breakfast it was time for our next activity of the day: the BAMA vs VANDY football game!
Although this game certainly did not end up in our favor (I still can't believe Vandy actually beat us) at least we had very, very cute gameday outfits!! I paired together the RACHEL VEST with a black leather midi skirt from the Pants Store and accessorized with an Alabama themed charm necklace I made myself and some adorable black bedazzled ballet flats from Target! Con kept her gameday fit more neutral with our FAYETTE DRESS and her black Annie Boots from Tecovas, and for a little Bama flair she added one of our officially licensed Alabama gameday buttons! We did not sit through the whole game at the Vandy Stadium because I simply could not watch the Tide lose in person, so we decided to head back to our hotel to get ready for a fun night on Broadway!!
We weren't gonna let a Bama loss ruin the good vibez of our sissy weekend, so we did yet another outfit change and headed down to Broadway! This was my first time experiencing Broadway and lets just say I was a bit overwhelmed at first seeing all of the neon signs and hearing the many sounds of the honky tonk bars. Con styled the LIZ TOP with a pair of Still Here jeans and a Texas trucker hat from Aviator Nation and I put together the CECE TOP with the IDA SHORTS - we were going for cute yet comfy to end our long day. After going to Miranda Lambert and Lainey Wilson's bars, we decided to head back to the Graduate and finish off our night with some french fries and espresso martinis back at the White Limozeen!
With Con and I living in different states and having really chaotic schedules we don't get to have a lot of just sissy time nowadays, so we were SO happy to have had this weekend together. If you forget about the final score of the Alabama game, it was a 10/10 sister weekend!
